Life is back to normal! Prepare for a long entry, catching up on 2 weeks!!
Sujeet arrived safely home on Saturday, and it was so nice to see him. I was so busy here during the 2 weeks he was gone, that the days went by fast. But at the same time, I felt like he was gone for a month instead of 2 weeks. He brought back some Indian things for me, and his family also sent me some wonderful gifts! There had not been communication between me and Sujeet's family in India, but now there is some and it's awesome! I still have not talked to my mother in law, and father in law, but my mother in law did send me some gifts that are sent specifically to daughter in laws. It's a huge break through!!! Then his sisters sent me such nice things...like real gold earrings, a sari, a salwar suit(it's a long tunic top, over matching pants with a scarf to put on shoulders), a nice glass bowl, bangles, and etc!
Madhavi, one of Sujeet's younger sisters (she is my age) paints and sketches amazingly. I did not know that about her. I had made paintings for some of my sister in laws and a niece in India that Sujeet brought to them. Then Madhavi said she would send me back a painting. All I can say is wow, she is talented!!!! She is a true artist. She also sent 3 sketches of really cute cottage/mountain scenes. Here is the painting she sent for me:
I can also show the paintings I sent, which were not just paintings of scenes but mostly just of their names. I did paint one beach scene for Sujeet's parents, to represent Florida to them. I may know how to do something little with a paint brush, but I am not a true artist, I mean to say I would not call myself a real artist. So when Sujeet showed me this painting from Madhavi, I was really amazed!! Here's the paintings I sent (you have to click on it if you want to see them bigger) :
but it would take too long right now!
So now about our house buying journey...
All is going well! Our closing date is still March 27th, only 3 weeks(minus 1 day) away! With all the car problems I've been having, it was stressful doing everything on my own while Sujeet was in India. Like getting the inspection done, meeting with the mortgage lender, gathering documents, signing things, shopping around for home owner's insurance, and bla bla bla. But I am proud to say I did do all that alone while Sujeet was away! But now I'm glad he's back!! Yesterday I again met with the mortgage lender to give documents she needed, and today at 1pm I'm going to the insurance office to pick up documents for our home owner's insurance and give them a check. I finally took pictures of the house we are buying! Here are pictures:

Well I think that's enough updating the blog for now! I'm sure I'll have more to say tomorrow!!
