2 weeks til Christmas and counting...

On Saturday night, we got to see the space shuttle's flames after it took off. Even though I have seen that type of event 10 times or so, it's still so exciting to me. And Sujeet never got to see anything like it before so it was his 1st!

We live on the opposite coast from the Kennedy Space center. But when the space shuttles lift off at night, we can usually see the rockets' flames a few seconds later outside in the eastern horizon. It's so awesome! Its over 100 miles way and yet we can see it's huge rocket flames for about 1-2 minutes.

Today I did a little Christmas shopping and tomorrow I'm hoping to do more.
