Sweet Home Alabama
We got home last night at around 10:45pm from our trip. It was very fun! We did get to see fall colors on the trees, and pretty mountains!!
I took pictures, but they don't capture the beauty. I don't think I have talked about this on here yet, but in about 2 years we plan to move to Alabama. That was another reason for this trip, since Sujeet had never been there. I know I used to get all different negative images in my head when I heard the name "Alabama", but it was a stereotype and not really reality. Northern Alabama is very pretty. It's just like Tennessee, scenery wise.
Since we already have friends there, we are able to visit often until we move. The area we are interested in is Gadsden. It has a really cute old American downtown and really cute houses.

Then on the way home, in Atlanta, we went to IKEA. We bought curtains, and a bedspread and a duvet cover for it(that's how it's done at IKEA. You buy a plain colored quilt that is made to be covered with duvets sold separately). We bought some other household items and decor as well. They have really good prices on some stuff. It was a lot of fun, it's just too bad we couldn't spend more time there. We were trying to leave by a certain time since we still had about 6-7 hours of driving left until home.

You can't tell on the curtains too well, but there are light brown flower vines down it. They will both go well with the brown walls in our bedroom. I'll have to post a picture of the room. I thing it looks cute.
