Sad Saturday

Sujeet found out yesterday that they needed him to come to work today. A co-worker of his is away and handles more things than Sujeet, and while he's gone all the work falls on Sujeet. So now he has to be at work all day and he just told me he might need to be there til 9pm, which really angers me. Extra hours mean nothing for us, since he is on salary. Whether he works 40 hours or 60 a week, he gets the same monthly pay. Yeha, he only gets paid once a month, which makes things hard. They need to give hima raise, and it's really not fair to give one day's notice and then expect someone to stay at work 12 hours!!! He got there at 9, and now says they might need him there til 9 because of some stupid conference thing going on with a project in New Mexico. On a Saturday!! When Sujeet has never worked on a Saturday there. He is also very frustrated. Tonight's Andy and Jenn's dress up party, and we are supposed to go but it looks like I might have to go alone now.

We are not just married but also best friends and we rarely do any activity without the other. He's gone at work & driving to and from work about 11 1/2 hours each day, and now he has to work his 6th day this week. I will be missing him if I have to go to the party alone. Even though he has been here for over a yaer, we still miss eachother when he's at work and if we do an activity on the weekend without eachother. Also next Saturday I have to go to a bridal shower so it means another Saturday of us not spending the whole day together. Grrrr
